Screening Day!

its the last day of Project One.
Gald that we finally completed it!

Okay i shall first say what happen today.
Jing yuan and i went to school early to complete all the final touches and the last bit of animation.
after ensuring that everything was done, we rendered our video!
then at 12, we were about to proceed to the lt 24 for the movie screening.
But someone told us that we can't present using the harddisk as the video will get laggy.
The Worst Thing Is.... WE HAVEN TRANSFER IT TO THE TAPE!!!
MY GOD!!!!
We rushed like hell up to the 3D animation lab and tried to borrow a video cam..
But every group up there will queuing up for their turn to use the only two there is in the room.
Sarah had forgotten to bring the video cam we had borrowed..
but its ok Sarah.

So we waited and as sholleh group is still rendering their video, they decide to let us use their video cam first.

so we started to transfer..but alot problems crop up and we had to transfer for like 4 times?!?
first time : the computer does not have enough space..
second time: Camera no battery..
Third time: Yuan tripped over the wire for the charger and the power supply cut off.
Fourth time: Finally DONE.

We rushed down to the lt24 without checking the tape thus not realising the small mistake in the video. Sorry group mates... i forget to put in the black video T.T
Our group was the second last to submit so we are the second to present.

The first video to show their work is sholleh's group.
And after which is our group.
I think that we did ourselves proud as we can hear alot of laughter while we play our video.
jen said that alfie was laughing SUPER loudly! HAHA!
This is how we want people to feel when they watch our video.
And while watching, even our group members were laughing our head off when we thought that we were already tired of video.
Even though unlike alvin's group, our lightings are not of the best..
Unlike Raj's group, our effect are not the best..
Unlike Tri's we dun have the best animation..
But i have to say that our video is the most entertaining one!!!
But honestly.. im VERY VERY VERY impressed by Raj's works as i guess that everyone will say so too!
their video are very of standard and even Ronald seems very satisfied with their work.
Shu xian's group: Even though their group's work are not the best out of the best, i know that they really put in alot of effort as u can see for their intro part, they stand outside general office there for like ONE HOURS PLUS!! just to hold that board to create the effect they wanted. imagine that you standing there and people walking past you will stare at you all like you some crazy people *even though i agree that designers are sort of crazy..*
joel and vivian: kind of shock by both of your acting! but still great as i get to see another side of ur! :)
Boon bin group: interesting idea and that hand action of the Doc MOI -_-
germ's group: HAHA! i like the my eye part! and chasing butterfly's too!
But not forgetting other groups though! All did a great job!

I feel very happy that we have created this piece of work as even though there are unhappiness in our group due to various reasons, i think that the final product is still good. I honestly think that me and Jing Yuan can click very well as the way we see things are very similar and we have the same sense of stupid humor! HAHA! Really had alot of fun work working with you, singing stupid songs, kana scolded by you and alot other more stuffs we did together. Not forgetting other group mates too (: Thanks for working hard for the past 2 months for this project !

And i guessed we had learnt alot in this process. For me, i learnt more about video editing as peng had teach me how to use the 'Wipe' effect, twirl effect and stuffs.And aslo that in doing video, there should be alot communication going as one person cat possibly do the video all by him or herself. So everyone should really talk to each other to hear suggestion so as to improve the whole video. And also that in the process of filming a video, planning is very IMPORTANT. We should really settle on the camera angle and the duration u want for every scene to be shown instead of just deciding on the things u wanna film, places u wanna filming. Also, always had a back up copy for your works as sometimes, ur file get corrupted and thats it. You will have to start for scratch. Lastly, ALWAYS CHECK UR FINAL WORK. Im still kinda upset over that 'Detective' and 'Spy' part in our video...Even thought it is kinda redundant, i still hope that our video would be at least perfect. for us.. But its ok...

Its kinda sad that we all ending or in fact ended our year one life in MOI. It seem so fast and sooner or later, everyone will split into two groups, video and animation. Dont really want that time to come but it still will right? everyone wants to persue their own dreams. So, i shall support all of my close friends who wants to get into animation! JIA YOU!
